BIOGRAPHY

I fell in love with photography when I received my first camera at the age of eight. Since then I have never stopped taking pictures of moments that count, for better and for worse (like taking hundreds and hundreds of pictures)!

I developed my photographic knowledge in high school where I attended an art program. I keep in mind teenage memories of walks with my father’s film camera, searching for the best place to shoot. And then spending hours developing my photo films in the dark room and realizing that I was not satisfied with my work! 

Although I am now using a digital camera, photography will always mean to me the discovery of places and the capture of their particular atmospheres. Digital camera is also an unlimited creative tool because I no longer need to limit myself in the number of my pics, which enables me to improve again and again.

Working for Citifari allowed me to meet professional photographers and helped me to take my passion to the next step, namely choosing what I want to shoot and how I want to do it, instead of taking pictures of everything. Thanks to my inspiring friends from Citifari, I developed my photograph eye and I managed to develop my own style.

Living in Switzerland, Citifari offered me the opportunity to travel to New York as often as I could. New York is where I revealed myself artistically and personally. This is also my favorite playground because, for me, New York is the most photogenic place in the world, and trying to capture the soul of this city through my photographs is an incomparable feeling. Even if I realy enjoy to discover other places and new atmospheres, New York will always be where my heart beats.
